Job Description
Manufacturing Manager role in Tullamarine, VIC, AU, to manage day-to-day operations, ensure safety, quality, service and cost targets are met, and drive continuous improvement activities within manufacturing.
Requirements
- Strong Leadership Skills
- Effective communicator
- Lean / six sigma experience
- Computer literacy in Word, PowerPoint, Excel – intermediate/advanced
- Familiar with SAP / Business Intelligence or BW data mining activities
- Results driven individual with process improvement experience including lean tools.
- Understanding of Health and Safety and HSNO regulations
- Able to maintain a clear focus on eliminating waste, simplifying and error-proofing processes, sustaining gains, and creating flow.
- Tertiary Qualification in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Packaging or related subject.
- Alternatively 10+ year’s management experience in a similar industry.
- Lean Six Sigma Training to green belt level or higher preferred
