Job Description
SeamonWhiteside is seeking an ambitious Civil Designer to serve as a growth position within their Charlotte, NC office. This role focuses on further developing civil design and SW+ design skills, computer standards, and offering support to the engineering team in master planning, engineering design, and research. Mentorship opportunities are offered to support learning and analysis of project presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering (preferred)
- 1 - 5 years’ experience in Engineering in Training (EIT) preferred
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, ICPR, WaterCAD, Civil 3D)
- Understanding of project scope, schedules, and budgets
- Knowledge of design standards and permitting processes
