Job Description
Our client is a specialty engineering firm known for designing and building complex kinetic and mechanized architectural systems. They are seeking a curious and driven Structural Engineer to contribute to one-of-a-kind installations seen by a global audience.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
- B.S. in Civil/Structural Engineering (ABET-accredited) with 5+ years relevant experience; or M.S. with 3+ years
- E.I.T. certification
- Experience with structural modeling and finite element analysis
- Familiarity with building codes and design standards relevant to structural work
- Hands-on proficiency in software such as SAP2000, StaadPro, Risa3D, SolidWorks, and similar tools
- Confidence in making and defending complex design decisions
- Strong self-management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication across teams and with clients
