Job Description
Senior Mechanical Engineer will lead design of mechanical/HVAC/plumbing/fire protection systems for clients in various markets. The role involves project management, design, and coordination with clients/PM/Project Engineer.
Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 15 years of progressive engineering and managerial experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is preferred
- MBA or Other Certificated by Accredited Groups is preferred
- Experience in Energy Efficiency, Sustainability and Design Build Construction is preferred
- Knowledgeable of local, state and national code requirements
- Deep-knowledge of Mechanical / HVAC / Plumbing and Fire Protection systems
- Experience/working knowledge of load analysis and energy modeling programs
- Strong working knowledge and utilization of Autocad, Revit experience is a plus
- Knowledgeable of the USGBC LEED Rating system and standards is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong technical writing skills and technical documentation skills
- Ability to prepare presentations and reports
- Able to read, write, speak and understand English
