Product Engineer, APIs

We are looking for a curious and creative problem solver to design intuitive APIs and shape the Developer Experience (DX) for our platform. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial product designer with proven success in bringing APIs to market.

Requirements

• API Lover: You love the world of APIs, and get excited trying out newly released APIs, on-boardings flows, and writing prototypes.
• Systems Thinker: You understand the constraints of backend systems but have empathy for your users.
• Pragmatic Architect: You are a bias-to-action'ship-mover.' You balance the desire for the 'perfect' API design with the startup reality of delivering value to customers today.
• Public Iteration Advocate: You are comfortable'showing your work'. You see public disagreement or feedback as a signal for improvement rather than a source of friction.
• Async Native: You are an expert at asynchronous communication.
• Collaborative: You view 'ownership' as the responsibility to make the best decision, but not take it unilaterally.
