Job Description
Seasats is looking for a Senior Infrastructure and DevOps Engineer to help scale the backend systems that support their growing fleet of field-deployed autonomous surface vessels. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in DevOps and/or infrastructure engineering and a strong proficiency working in Linux environments.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps and/or infrastructure engineering
- Strong proficiency working in Linux environments and operating Linux servers
- Experience managing databases (e.g., Postgres, MySQL, time-series systems) in production
- Comfort automating infrastructure and operations using Bash and Python
- Familiarity with security best practices: secrets management, access controls, certificate management, and hardening
- Basic understanding of networking: routing, NAT, VPNs, VLANs, firewalls, and secure access patterns
- Experience with CI/CD, provisioning, and configuration management
- Ability to obtain a security clearance (U.S. Citizenship may be required)
