Job Description
We're looking for a Communications Advisor II to support Seaspan's external communications functions and position the company as Canada's shipbuilding and industrial maritime leader.
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree in journalism, communications, public relations or a related field
- Minimum of five to seven years of related experience in journalism or a public relations/communications role
- Proven experience in media relations and ability to build and maintain relationships with journalists and influencers
- Deep understanding of traditional, digital and emerging media platforms
- Knowledge of photo/video editing and design tools
