The Marine Electronics Technologist is responsible for the effective operation, maintenance, and repair of electronics and automation equipment on Seaspan Marine vessels. This includes managing and responding to electronic equipment and systems, providing repair recommendations, and overseeing the planned maintenance program.
Requirements
- Diploma in Electronics or Degree in electrical engineering, automation, robotics technology or equivalent
- 7+ years' experience with troubleshooting and debugging and repairing of industrial electro-mechanical components and equipment
- Experience with electrical generation and distribution systems
- Valid class 5 driver's license
