Job Description
Train and mentor fellow Tool Makers, assemble molds of any complexity, plan and schedule jobs, and troubleshoot mold issues. Collaborate with a cross-functional team of Tooling Engineers, CNC Machinists, and EDM Machinists. Independently operate shop equipment and communicate with outside vendors.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid identification and authorization to work in the US
- 2 years of technical or trade school
- 5+ years of mold making experience
- At least 2 years of CNC milling, EDM, and Wire EDM experience
- Strong technical math skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Mastercam software
- Able to walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 70 lbs
- Strong hand dexterity and fine motor skills
- Able to operate forklifts and overhead hoists safely
