Engineering Manager, Product Engineering

Requirements

• 8+ years of backend/product engineering experience
• Principal engineer level or equivalent
• Some engineering management experience (1–3 years)
• Strong hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, Claude)
• OOP fundamentals
• Experience building or integrating AI/ML features in production
• Experience leading system design on significant projects
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Relational database design and SQL optimisation
• Experience designing technical interviews and evaluating senior engineering candidates
• Strong written and in-person communication
• Startup experience
