General Counsel & Risk Manager

Securitas is seeking a General Counsel & Risk Manager based in Bangkok, Thailand. The role involves providing in-depth legal advice, managing risk, and leading the legal, compliance, and risk functions. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in a similar position with corporate legal experience within a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in a similar position with corporate legal experience within a fast-paced, fast-evolving and dynamic environment.
• Must be a qualified lawyer in Thailand from an accredited law school.
• Fluency in Legal English and Legal Thai. Any other language is a plus.
• Ability to identify and remedy complex legal issues.
• Knowledge of Compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks and typologies.
• Exceptionally good skills in the legal negotiation space.
• Strong interpersonal skills and listening skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization.
• Business acumen.
• Demonstrated ability to lead.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in legal technology (“Pro Legaltech” mindset).
• Coaching qualification (nice to have).
