Sheriff Deputy - SHERIFF. Patrols County areas, enforcing law and protecting life and property, operating radar, securing compliance with traffic regulations, and performing investigations at the scene of a crime or traffic accident.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid KS Driver's License
• State of KS Law Enforcement Certification, upon successful completion of Sedgwick County Law Enforcement academy
• Successful completion of the applicant process and Civil Service certification
• No record of criminal conviction, diversion, or expungement of any felony or crime of dishonesty, or the equivalent under the uniform code of military justice
