Job Description
Manage the day-to-day activities of national marine operations, including leading a team of surveyors and adjusters, investigating marine transport operations and claims, and ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
Requirements
- Manages a team of surveyors and adjusters
- Investigates various aspects of marine transport operations and claims
- Ensures compliance with various standards or specifications
- Inspects equipment intended for new or existing vessels
- Conducts various surveys including damage surveys and condition surveys
- Reviews file inventory to comply with statutory requirements
- Maintains all safety protocols according to regulations
- Travels as required
- Administers company personnel policies
- Interviews, hires and establishes colleague performance development plans
- Provides support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance
