Sanitation Supervisor

This position supervises the Sanitation staff and ensures all Safety and Food Safety procedures are observed and followed by Sanitation Associates. Assists Sanitation Manager to ensure equipment is cleaned and sanitized correctly. Ensures Associates are scheduled according to the needs at each location. May require working the night shift during peak seasons.

Requirements

• Assists in the supervision of Sanitation staff, including training and development of Forepersons and performance management in compliance with Union contract.
• Assists in the development, implementation and monitoring of the Master Sanitation Schedule to ensure all the equipment in the plant is cleaned and sanitized as required.
• Maintains communication within Production, Packing, Shipping, and other departments to ensure a good service level and that all departments work as a team to achieve objectives.
• Manages operations to comply with all applicable safety, food safety and environmental laws and regulations, as well as Company safety policies, food safety and quality procedures and standards.
• Responsible for execution and adherence to pre-requisite programs as well as food security/defense program.
