Job Description
SEEK is seeking a Staff Data Engineer to build high-quality data assets that empower teams across SEEK Group to deliver insights and enhance experiences for people and organisations.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in the Spark framework (Batch and Structured Streaming)
- Proven experience building and operating large-scale, cloud-based data platforms and warehouses
- Strong proficiency with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Advanced software engineering, coding, scripting, and SQL/database skills
- Skilled in logical and physical data modelling
- Hands-on experience with DevOps practices — deployments, infrastructure, monitoring, and operations
- Demonstrated leadership in tech-leading, mentoring, and developing engineers to enhance delivery performance
