Job Description
The Scribe I is responsible for accurately documenting physician-patient encounters in real time, ensuring accurate charting, improving workflow efficiency, and enhancing the overall patient experience. This role requires a strong understanding of ophthalmic terminology, exam procedures, and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field
- 1 year of experience as an ophthalmic or optometric technician or scribe
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise protocols
- Flexibility and willingness to travel between multiple locations as needed
