Job Description
Select Milk Producers is seeking a Relief Operator to perform various tasks including operating spray dryers, processing positions, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The Relief Operator will be responsible for receiving and storage of raw products, operating milk separators, HTST and membrane filtration systems, and more.
Requirements
- Ability to perform all positions including dryer and processing positions
- Operate spray dryer in a safe, sanitary manner
- Receiving and storage of raw products, operate Milk Separator, HTST and Membrane Filtration system in a safe, sanitary manner
- Effectively start up, shut down, and CIP of dryer and associated equipment
- Monitor moisture, fat and scorched particles at a minimum of once per hour and record results on log sheets while operating
- Aid in the training of new personnel
- Report immediately to the foreperson or supervisor of any damage, irregular activity, or unsafe conditions concerning the equipment
