We are hiring a PDI Service Technician to ensure all assets are configured to customer expectations and ready to 'plug and play' at one of our regional depots.
Requirements
- Work with the Machine Leader to ensure all assets go through the PDI process according to agreed specifications.
- Manage and maintain the PDI area in your depot to the highest standard.
- Attend any training courses required to ensure you have the correct knowledge to successfully pass each asset through the PDI process.
- Ensure systems are updated to reflect the progress of a machine through the PDI process.
- Be prepared to attend some machine installations should your expertise on an asset be required by the Installations Team.
- Assist the depot logistics team to load vehicles with the assets that have been through the PDI process in a way that protects them from damage whilst in transit.
- Strong practical and mechanical aptitude with the ability to handle equipment confidently and safely.
- A can-do, problem solving attitude when faced with machine issues that require a variation in approach.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure nothing leaves the PDI process without you being certain it will be successful in the field.
