Trades Payable (A/P) Accountant

The Trades Payable Accountant will perform a variety of accounting functions within the Trades Payable (Accounts Payable) group, including processing trades payable invoices, issuance of payments, and review of AP transactions within the Viewpoint accounting system.

Requirements

• 2+ years of direct applicable college education and/or work experience in a construction accounting office, OR a comparable combination of education and experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and the full suite of applications in Microsoft Office
• Extensive proficiency with use of Excel
• Experience with an integrated standard business accounting program
• General understanding of the construction industry, with specific emphasis on the application of sales and use tax
• Familiarity with a general ledger and job costing codes
• Experience with credit card platforms
