Sendbird is looking for an Enterprise Security Engineer to design, implement, and operate security controls across endpoints, identity systems, and cloud services to ensure a safe working environment for global employees. The role will play a key role in collaborating with the IT and engineering teams to establish a 'Secure by Default' culture throughout the organization.
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant experience in the field
- Direct experience in operating endpoint security controls using EDR, NGAV, and MDM platforms in a large-scale MacOS environment
- Experience in operating secure remote access infrastructure, including VPN/ZTNA
- Knowledge of email security protocols, including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, and phishing defense
- Experience in implementing SaaS platform security and pre/post-controls
- Ability to utilize script languages, such as Python and Bash (automating capabilities a plus)
- Ability to empathize with users and prioritize practical security results while maintaining a balance between security and productivity
- Experience in setting up a risk-based security roadmap, reducing security risk, and improving organizational security levels (a plus)
- Experience in applying attack techniques, including MITRE ATT&CK, and detection/response strategies (a plus)
- Experience in applying zero-trust network architecture (a plus)
