Job Description
Seneca Foods is seeking a full-time Plant Electrician to maintain and repair food processing equipment. The successful candidate will have 2-year vocational electrical degree and/or previous experience in 480/3 phase, good electrical mechanical repair & trouble shooting skills, and good communication skills.
Requirements
- Installing & maintaining plant equipment to meet specifications & regulations.
- Repair & trouble shooting of electrical wiring, PLC’s, controllers, lighting controls & electrical motors in a production environment.
- Maintain cost control over equipment & supplies for budget.
- Ensure that General Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), safety rules & regulations are being followed & enforced.
- Other duties as assigned.
