GL Accounting Manager

sennder is Europe's Leading Digital Freight Forwarder. We are seeking a proactive and innovative GL Accounting Manager to oversee and manage the General Ledger Accounting function across specific sennder entities.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting or Audit, with proven team leadership experience.
• In-depth knowledge of local GAAPs and IFRS; familiarity with other local GAAPs is an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in multi-entity and international month-end closings.
• Experience managing local tax compliance topics, in coordination with tax advisors or external stakeholders, is a plus.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a hands-on and solution-oriented mindset.
• Background in finance transformation, process optimization, or shared service environments is highly advantageous.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite and Oracle preferred) and solid Excel skills.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
