Job Description
Queens Community House (QCH) is seeking a Youth Development Specialist to join the team at John Adams Young Adult Borough Center (YABC). The role provides comprehensive support services to students, guiding them through internship preparation, post-secondary planning, and career readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience working with youth, preferably in a NYC high school setting
- Strong counseling, facilitation, and youth engagement skills
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Salesforce preferred)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, as required by school events and home visits
