Mechanical Design Engineer - Production Equipment

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Mechanical Equipment Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in machine design principles, technical analysis, and documentation, with the ability to work independently on complex mechanical systems and components.

Requirements

• Design machines and fixtures based on engineering principles and project requirements.
• Analyze technical specifications and propose effective design solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation in accordance with industry standards.
• Apply knowledge of manufacturing technologies for machine parts and ensure design feasibility.
• Select appropriate materials for machine construction based on their properties and applications.
• Integrate standard components and drive systems into machine designs.
• Independently develop complete machines or subsystems with minimal supervision.
• Prepare detailed drawings and documentation for production of the mechanical components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product design, production, quality, and procurement.
• Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in machine design and development.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Familiarity with technical documentation standards.
• Strong understanding of materials science and mechanical components.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability (DFM).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
