Job Description
A Sr. Cost Engineer oversees project finances, developing budgets, cost estimates, and managing expenses to support profitability, assessing risks, tracking project progress, and generating detailed financial reports.
Requirements
- Development of comprehensive project budgets and advanced cost models
- Review of drawings and specifications, and provision of expert guidance in cost estimates
- Establishment, tracking, and maintenance of project budgets and forecasts
- Monitoring and analysis of actual project expenditures
- Preparation of advanced cost performance reports
- Identification and evaluation of major cost risks
- Analysis and negotiation of supplier contracts
- Maintenance of comprehensive project documentation
