Job Description
Perform patient care and administrative tasks under the direction of a physician or nurse, provide a safe environment for patients, and demonstrate skills and knowledge required of medical assistants.
Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), or EMT Basic Certification (EMT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
- Ability to assess situations, consider alternatives, and develop action plans
- Ability to follow department and system policies, procedures, and practices
