Job Description
Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton, VA is hiring a Full Time Echocardiographer for the Noninvasive Lab. The Echocardiographer specializes in performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations of the heart, working closely with cardiologists to evaluate heart structures, functions, and blood flow. Performs various types of echocardiograms and completes technologist reports.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited echocardiography program (Associate's or Bachelor's in Cardiovascular Technology) OR a High School Diploma along with significant experience
- Adult echocardiography registry (RCCS, RCS or RDCS) within 12 months of hire
- ACLS certification within 90 days
- BLS certification within 90 days
