Emergency Department Technician (Part time)

Sentara Lake Ridge is hiring a Part Time Emergency Department Technician to assist physicians, advanced practitioners, and nurses in implementing care plans for emergency patients.

Requirements

• BLS certification within 90 days of hire
• De-escalation and physical intervention training within 15 days of hire
• Previous clinical experience (preferred)
• EMT-B with state or national certification at time of hire
• Successful completion of US Military Hospital Corps School, qualified MMAC candidates
• Current student enrolled in clinical program (e.g., RN, LPN, Respiratory, Physical Therapy) having completed at least one semester within the program
