Job Description
Sentara Albemarle Medical Center is hiring a Lactation Consultant to help breastfeeding women and their families achieve their breastfeeding goals. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of patient safety protocols and experience in Women's health.
Requirements
- RN - Associate's degree
- RN - Bachelor's Degree
- Women's Care - Perinatal departments; NRP within 6 months of hire
- BLS within 90 days of hire
- Registered nursing license required or Physician Assistant required
- 1 years of acute care registered nurse experience in Women's health- Required or 1 year of Physician Assistant experience required
