Job Description
Sentara is hiring a Patient Care Technician to work at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital in Virginia Beach on the 3 West Ortho/Trauma Unit. The unit specializes in providing expert care for patients with musculoskeletal injuries and related complications. Patient Care Technicians work under the direct supervision of a professional nurse to implement delegated aspects of nursing care.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- American Health Associate BLS Certification within 90 days of hire
- Must have one of the following certifications: Sentara Care Partner Certification Program, CNA, NCMA, NCPCT, completion of US Navy Hospital Corps School, or equivalent
- One year of prior healthcare experience preferred
