Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology Unit

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Oncology Unit. The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible to perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required)
• Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN or MSN (Preferred)
• Students in the process of completing an accredited nursing program
• Certification/Licensure: Registered nursing License (Required)
• Oncology Nursing Society (ONS)/Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC) or Sentara approved course Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Provider Card within 6 months of hire
• BLS required within 90 days of hire
