Job Description
SEPTA is seeking a Engineer III (1021) - Automotive to undertake engineering/quality assurance assignments of normal complexity and provide technical support for engineering/quality assurance activities. The ideal candidate will have a B.S. degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering and three years of progressive relevant work experience.
Requirements
- B.S. Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering from an accredited university
- Three (3) years of satisfactory progressive relevant work performance
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Computer skills, proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and MS software applications
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software programs
- Previous relevant transit experience within the engineering discipline preferred
- Valid Driver’s License required
