Director of Accounting

The Accounting Director reports to the CFO and is responsible for managing the overall operation of the Accounting Department, ensuring financial statements and records are accurate and compliant with local laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
• Manage and mentor the accounting team
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
• Coordinate the annual audit process
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management
• Assess and improve internal controls
• Oversee the general ledger and ensure accuracy
• Facilitate tax planning and compliance
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall business goals
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations
• Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors and regulatory agencies
• Coordinate with international accounting staff
• Develop skills with the Company’s ERP system
• Lead the integration and purchase accounting for acquisitions
