KCPC Inpatient RN PRN

We are seeking a competent Psychiatric Registered Nurse who practices psychiatric-mental health nursing to care for patients' medical and psychiatric needs. This professional nurse shall possess specialized knowledge, skills, and abilities that have been obtained through education and experience in caring for persons with behavioral health needs, psychiatric disorders, co-occurring psychiatric and substance use disorders.

Requirements

• Participation in the assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementing, coordination of care, health teaching and health promotion of a unique patient population
• Counseling (individual and group counseling) and safety management of the therapeutic milieu in a secure forensic facility
• Engagement in mission-driven leadership focused on patient care and quality improvement
