Job Description
The Youth Leadership Coordinator provides support and encouragement to young adults with behavioral health and substance-use challenges, promoting active participation and creating a youth support network within their region. Responsibilities include training, coaching, and development of Youth Peer Support Specialists, as well as planning outreach activities and speaking publicly to develop the TAY Youth Network.
Requirements
- Attended Peer Support Coaches training
- Required to attend Family Leadership Academy, Youth Peer Support Specialist Training, Kentucky Family Thrive training and other pertinent trainings
- May be required to attend out-of-state Grantee Meetings
