CAD Designer

Seven Seas Water Group is seeking an experienced Piping & Mechanical CAD Designer to support the design and detailing of wastewater treatment systems. The ideal candidate is proficient with parametric modeling tools and can coordinate with engineers, field crews, and design staff to develop buildable layouts that eliminate installation conflicts.

Requirements

• Develop accurate design packages—including equipment layouts, piping, supports, structural components, tanks, and fabricated assemblies—based on engineering inputs and field data.
• Collaborate with Design and Project Engineers to refine design intent and incorporate required changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in site visits to collect measurements, verify installation conditions, and document findings.
• Support field teams by resolving design issues and providing quick-turn solutions when unexpected conditions arise.
• Maintain adherence to departmental standards, drawing conventions, and CAD best practices.
• Modify and manage project parameters within modeling software to maintain consistency and support design automation.
• Coordinate with team members to support project deadlines and ensure cohesive design execution.
