Job Description
Severn Trent Water is seeking a Principal Modelling Engineer to join its AI&I Hydraulic Modelling Team, leading modelling activities, supporting root cause analysis, and collaborating with Data Science & Modelling teams.
Requirements
- Leading hydraulic modelling work
- Managing Sewerage Management Plan consultants
- Conducting root cause analysis for flooding and pollution investigations
- Scoping and managing asset, flow, and catchment surveys
- Reviewing and approving technical work carried out by the team and external partners
- Presenting to internal and external stakeholders
- Mentoring junior modellers and contributing to technical innovation and quality assurance improvements
