Caregiver

Mentor Community Services provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a caregiver, you will join a mission-driven team and create relationships that motivate us all every day.

Requirements

• Provide direct support within a single program or unit within a program
• Assist with daily activities such as personal care, housekeeping, recreational activities, transportation, and community integration
• Accurately document progress and activity
• Maintain healthy and professional relationships with individuals, friends, families, guardians, and case managers
• Report any instance of alleged abuse or neglect
• Maintain confidentiality and respect the rights of persons being served
• Monitor individual's health and document health concerns
• Prepare or support individuals to prepare food in accordance with planned menus and individual choice
• Work together with others, value others' contributions, and show respect to others
• Comply with all established safety policies, procedures, and rules
