Support Preschool Educators

Join Shalom Austin, a growing organization making a difference in the community, as a Support Preschool Educator. This is a full-time, hourly position with a salary of $17.00 to $19.00 per hour. The role involves assisting the Lead Educator, implementing time-management and behavior management strategies, and providing a values-based learning environment.

Requirements

• High School or equivalent
• Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19
• Demonstrated ability to learn and incorporate new philosophies and teaching strategies
• Ability to physically play with the children in the classroom and on the playground
• Works well collaboratively in a team environment
• Proficient in the use of iPads/computers for daily reports and parent communication updates
• Positive Attitude and Self Motivated
• Passion for creativity, a values-based learning environment, and an educational philosophy centered around children as Constructivist Learners
