We're looking for a qualified Data Protection Officer to carry out the role of Data Protection Manager. As Data Protection Manager you’ll be experienced and knowledgeable and be able to enhance how we handle personal data across Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire & Rescue Service ensuring the Service remains compliant and builds trust and integrity.

Requirements

• Qualified as a Data Protection Officer
• Demonstratable working knowledge of data protection principles and associated legislation and information governance
• Line Management experience within a business environment
• Confidence to use own initiative and complete and prioritise work independently
• Experience of working at a corporate level, ideally in the public sector
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• The ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
