Job Description
On-call firefighters are paid individuals employed by the fire and rescue service who are 'on call' to respond to emergencies and engage with their community. They receive thorough training and learn skills in emergency situations and personal development. The role is physically demanding, but offers the chance to make a real contribution to the community.
Requirements
- Be able to reach the fire station quickly and safely after being alerted to an incident
- Meet certain essential requirements
- Work and/or live within 4 minutes of the Fire Station
