Job Description
An on-call firefighter is a paid person employed by the fire and rescue service who is 'on call' to respond to a range of emergencies and to engage with their community. The role is demanding but offers the chance to make a real contribution and form close working relationships with the team.
Requirements
- Work and/or live within 4 minutes to the Fire Station
- Be able to reach the fire station quickly and safely after being alerted to an incident
- Physical fitness is of utmost importance
