Product Design Engineer II

As a Product Design Engineer II, you will help shape the future of Shark's Wet Cleaning product portfolio through early stage innovation, technology creation, and concept development. You will work on ideas before they become products, bringing together creativity, engineering, and consumer insight to imagine and develop the next generation of Shark innovations.

Requirements

• Degree in Product Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Design Engineering
• Experience in mechanical or product design, ideally with exposure to concept or early stage development work
• Experience in consumer goods or household appliances is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of plastics and manufacturing processes with the ability to balance innovation and feasibility
• High proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or Creo
• Hands on prototyping skills and a test and learn mindset
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain ideas clearly and influence stakeholders
