Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant role to help in various functions, including preparing journal entries, summarizing results, general ledger analysis, and completing account reconciliations. This person will be responsible for maintaining and developing strong accounting processes and internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP. The position will provide the opportunity to learn how high growth business models operate, all while obtaining substantial guidance, feedback, and mentoring from an Accounting team with private and public accounting experience.

Requirements

• Preparing general ledger entries, maintaining records and files, and reconciling accounts
• Capitalizing and recording fixed assets in Oracle in accordance with accounting policies
• Learning and enhancing current accounting procedures
• Answering accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
• Collaborating with internal and external business partners to resolve transactional issues
• Acting as liaison between Finance and other departments
• Supporting and maintaining strong internal control policies and procedures and external audits
