International Traffic Technology Expert

SHELADIA Associates is a multi-disciplinary international professional consulting firm seeking an experienced International Traffic Technology Expert to support the Asian Development Bank (ADB)-funded Road Safety Improvement (Phase II) project in the Kyrgyz Republic.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in transportation engineering, traffic engineering, ITS, civil engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of relevant international experience in traffic control technologies, road safety systems, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), traffic technology deployment and implementation
• Demonstrated experience specifying, procuring, and implementing traffic safety technologies within the Safe System approach
• Familiarity with iRAP methodologies and road safety data systems
• Experience on donor-funded infrastructure or transport projects
• Experience in developing countries required; experience in CAREC countries or Central Asia preferred
• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills in English; knowledge of Russian and/or Kyrgyz is considered an advantage
