Job Description
Shepherd Center is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to join their team at their Post Acute Brain Injury Rehab program. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with brain injuries, developing and implementing treatment programs, and collaborating with patients and families to achieve goals. Shepherd Center is a world-class rehabilitation facility that provides unmatched expertise and compassion to help patients begin again.
Requirements
- Develops and implements treatment programs for patients with brain injuries
- Collaborates with patients and families to develop and implement treatment plans
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Assesses patient needs and develops plans to address those needs
- Provides skilled interventions as outlined by AOTA
- Documents information clearly and completely
- Participates in research projects and education programs
- Willing to treat a diverse population and adapt to changing work demands
