PRN Physical Therapist - Inpatient Spinal Cord Injury Rehab

Shepherd Center is seeking a Physical Therapist to join their team in Atlanta, GA. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with spinal cord injuries, developing and implementing treatment programs, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care. The role requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

• A degree from an accredited program in physical therapy.
• BLS certification required.
• Licensed to practice in the state of Georgia.
• Two years of recent clinical experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Working knowledge of treatment and therapeutic patient care devices.
• Knowledge of growth, development, and age-specific patient needs.
• Competency in time management, organization, prioritization, and critical thinking.
• Ability to transfer and position patients, consistent with lifting up to 50 lbs.
