Job Description
The Psychiatrist on Sheppard Pratt’s Adult Inpatient Service Line provides expert psychiatric care for adults with complex and acute psychiatric conditions. This role involves performing comprehensive diagnostic assessments, admission evaluations, and risk assessments; prescribing and managing psychotropic medications; and developing individualized treatment plans.
Requirements
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
- Active Maryland medical license with Controlled Substances Registration and valid DEA Certificate
- Completion of a residency training program
- Two years of experience preferred, including acute psychiatric care
- Experience working with patients in acute behavioral health settings
