Job Description
Sherman + Reilly is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer III to join their Engineering team in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The role involves designing, developing, and improving specialized equipment used by utility and infrastructure customers across North America.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
- 8+ years of engineering experience in heavy manufacturing, industrial equipment, mobile equipment, or related industries
- Experience with product development and mechanical system design
- Proven capability to design and troubleshoot complete hydraulic systems
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and engineering fundamentals
- Experience with CAD software and engineering analysis tools
- Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
