Job Description
The Production Scheduler is responsible for developing and executing the master production schedule to support on-time delivery and efficient resource utilization. This role serves as a critical link between Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain.
Requirements
- Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Purchasing, Material Control, Quality, and Sales
- Maintain master production schedule and ensure all production schedules meet on-time delivery goals
- Monitor sales forecast and production forecast to ensure demand is reflective in MRP
- Schedule outside processing and communicate with outside supply vendors
- Provide input to management regarding scheduling problems and material shortages
